Cancellation and Returns – excerpt from the GTC

Who can exercise the right of withdrawal without giving any reason?
- The right of withdrawal without giving any reason is only available to natural persons who are consumers ; legal entities may not exercise this right.
The withdrawal deadline
- The consumer may exercise his right of withdrawal within 14 calendar days from the receipt of the goods, pursuant to Government Decree 45/2014. (II. 26.).
- When ordering multiple goods, the deadline begins with the receipt of the last delivered good, in the case of goods consisting of multiple items or pieces, with the last item or piece delivered, and in the case of goods supplied regularly, the deadline begins with the receipt of the first service.
- The consumer may also exercise his right of withdrawal during the period between the conclusion of the contract and the receipt of the goods.
Exercise of the right of withdrawal
- The consumer may exercise his right of withdrawal by means of a clear declaration or by using the declaration template included in the appendix to the GTC.
- The withdrawal declaration is valid within the deadline if the consumer sends it within 14 days.
- The Seller confirms the consumer's declaration on an electronic data medium.

Refund obligation
- If the consumer withdraws from the contract, the Seller will refund the full amount paid, including delivery charges, no later than 14 days from the date of notification of the withdrawal.
- The Seller will refund using the same payment method that the consumer used to pay; a different method is only possible with the express consent of the consumer, without additional fees.
- If the consumer has chosen a more expensive method of transportation than usual, the resulting additional costs will not be refunded by the Seller.
- The Seller may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the consumer has provided credible proof of return.
Consumer obligations
- The goods must be returned or handed over immediately, but at the latest within 14 days from the date of notification of withdrawal. The deadline is met if the consumer returns the goods before the expiry of the 14 days.
- The direct cost of return shipping is borne by the consumer; the Seller will not accept packages returned by cash on delivery or postage.
- The consumer is liable for any depreciation resulting from use beyond that necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
The consumer may not exercise his right of withdrawal in the following cases, among others:
- In the case of a service provided, if the business has begun the performance with the express prior consent of the consumer and the consumer has acknowledged that he or she will lose his or her right of withdrawal after performance.
- For goods or services whose price depends on movements in the financial market and may fluctuate within the withdrawal period.
- Non-prefabricated goods that are manufactured at the request or instruction of the consumer or that are clearly tailored to the consumer.
- Goods in sealed packaging that cannot be returned after opening for health or hygiene reasons.
- In the case of digital content provided on a non-tangible medium, if the Seller has commenced performance with the express prior consent of the consumer and the consumer has acknowledged that he or she will lose his or her right of withdrawal after commencement of performance.
